The Maraba Cooperative’s Women’s Coffee celebrates both craftsmanship and community. Established in 2001 with just twenty growers, the cooperative now represents over 1,500 farmers—35% of whom are women—who cultivate Red Bourbon across Rwanda’s lush, volcanic highlands. Their meticulous washing and sun-drying methods highlight the purity and vibrancy of Rwandan terroir while empowering women through shared resources, education, and access to fair credit systems.
In the cup, this coffee shines with bright, fruit-forward energy. Juicy apple cider acidity pairs with tropical tones of pineapple and guava, while a hint of passion fruit adds playful depth.
